We’ve all seen the devastation from the fires this fall in Northern California. We wanted to help so decided to try to raise money to send some of the smaller Sheldon shelters to help in the relief efforts in Paradise CA, one of the areas hardest hit.
We raised enough to ship five Sheldons, along with all the tools and hardware needed to assemble them. Although in general it’s best to fabricate them locally, in this case we fabricated them in Bill’s shop in Exmore Virginia and shipped them in two pallet loads.
Many thanks to all that supported us, especially ShopBot Tools, Norva Plastics, all of our GoFundMe backers, and the members of Franktown Methodist Church and Eastville Baptist churches who generously donated.
